MIDDLE SCHOOL CREW

Looking for a fun, challenging, and totally new experience? Our Middle School Beginner Rowing Program is the perfect introduction to the sport of rowing—designed just for 7th and 8th graders.
Led by experienced coaches in a supportive environment, our program offers step-by-step instruction in a low-pressure, team-focused setting. Practices focus on teamwork, coordination, proper technique, and fitness, all while introducing kids to a unique and rewarding sport.
What They'll Learn
-
Rowing Basics: Coaches will teach proper technique and form in a fun, supportive way.
-
Boat Handling: Students will learn how to carry, launch, and care for rowing equipment safely.
-
Water Safety: We emphasize safety at every step so rowers feel comfortable and confident on the water.
Whether your child is trying rowing for the first time or just wants to get outside and be part of a team, this program builds skills, confidence, and friendships on and off the water.
UA Crew operates as a club sport at the Middle School level.
