LEARN TO R0W
Registration For Learn to Row is now open.
This program will NOT be run through Parks & Rec this year, please register here.
Youth Learn To Row is a fantastic introduction to UA Crew and is open to boys and girls, grades 7-12. Participants will learn the basics of Sweep Rowing (using one 15 foot long oar), oar mechanics on the water, safety on the water, rowing's unique language, how to "set" a boat, proper launching techniques, and the rowing stroke under the supervision of our Women's Head Coach, Kristina Patterson along with experienced alumni coaches and coxswains.
Each staff member has passed a background check through the Upper Arlington School District.
Participants do not need to be enrolled in Upper Arlington schools to participate.
All participants must be able to pass a swim test, consisting of swimming 25 meters, treading water for 5 minutes, and putting on a life vest while in the water.
Learn to Row Sessions (Monday through Thursday); $275 per session
