 Registration on all platforms MUST be completed by August 17th, 2026, for the athlete to attend the first practice

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURNING ATHLETES

Registration has three parts in the Spring, and just two parts in the Fall.

For Fall 2026; parts A + B must be completed by August 17th to be eligible to participate. Final Forms is Spring only.

   

   A.  Register for Fall Program on Regatta Central ($825)

  • Visit RegattaCentral.com

  • Select Team: Women's Varsity, Women's Novice, Men's Varsity, Men's Novice

  • Complete contact, medical, and insurance information, and make payment

   B.  Renew your annual USRowing Membership ($20)

  • Go to the Membership page at https://membership.usrowing.org/ and log in

  • Choose at least the Basic Membership

  • Membership must be under the athlete’s name and address

  • Review the athlete's profile, sign the parent/guardian liability waiver, and make payment as appropriate.​​ (IMPORTANT: Note that even if your annual membership is in good standing, you must still sign the liability waiver before the first day of practice.)

   C.   Final Forms (Spring Season Only)

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW ATHLETES 

*  2-Week Trial Period  *

Registration for the 2-Week Trial Period has 3 parts and all must be completed by March 2nd to be eligible to participate.

 

  A.  Register for 2-Week Trial on Regatta Central ($0)

  • Visit RegattaCentral.com

  • Join Team: High School Two-Week Trial

  • If you are a New User, be careful to follow the prompts for entering parent information versus athlete information

  • Complete contact, medical and insurance information

   B.  Become a Member of USRowing ($25)

  • Go to the membership page of USRowing.org and select "Individual"

  • Search for Upper Arlington and enter Club Code:  Es3gz

  • Choose at least the Basic Membership

  • Membership must be under the athlete’s name and address

  • Complete athlete profile, Sign the parent/guardian liability waiver, and make payment as appropriate.

   C.   Complete a Swim Test ($0)

  • If your athlete completed the swim test for a previous rowing session or Learn to Row they do NOT need to complete it again.

    See below for Instructions to complete your Swim Test

NEXT STEPS

 

  1. Order your athlete’s required team uniform (see the Crew Apparel page for more info). Items will be available at Meet the Team Night and can be exchanged for alternate sizing. Optional merch is also available for purchase.

  2. Attend Meet the Team Night is on Monday, August 31st at 6:30 pm at UAHS. This is a mandatory event for all athletes and at least one parent!

  3. Volunteer! We cannot operate without parent participation and volunteer opportunities will be discussed at Meet the Team.

SWIM TEST INFORMATION

All athletes must have passed the swim test before they can go on the water

To complete the swim test, the athlete must be able to:

  • Swim 25 yards unassisted

  • Tread water for 5 minutes

  • Put on a life jacket while in the water

SWIM TEST WALK-IN SCHEDULE​ 

​Athletes should check in at the front desk of the BCCC to let them know they are here for the UA Crew swim test.

Once inside the pool area, please look for a UA Crew volunteer near the windows. ​​​

Saturday, August 15th -- 8-9am

Monday, August 17th -- 7-8pm

Tuesday, August 25th -- 8-9pm
